‘If you seek peace, be still. If you seek wisdom, be silent. If you seek love, be yourself.’
~ Becca Leeoga
Overview
Relates to the ‘reflex points’ on the feet, hands, ears and face. These points correspond to your body’s organs and systems linked through ‘energy meridians. Reflexology works deep alongside the bones and joints with specific release techniques rather than muscle manipulation. When illness or imbalance occurs, the corresponding meridians become blocked and stressed. Reflexology releases these blocks helping you to heal in specific areas and overall.
Where applied, Reflexology will help minimize symptoms and aid in healing for specific health challenges or injuries in the whole body.
You, as a client, may prefer one area over another. You can clear one specific area of your body or several in one session. Overall, each area Reflexology is applied to will benefit from touch, aiding to feel calm, releasing stress and benefiting mobility and overall good health.
Deep pressure is used on your meridian points corresponding to your body’s organs and systems. These meridians are accessed through the lines of the bones and joints.
Please note Reflexology isn’t applied to inflamed areas, as this can hinder the depth of the techniques and may increase swelling or irritate you further.
